Hennel Lane is a registered residential home offering support to young disabled adults aged 18-30+ with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.

We support young adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that may challenge, and staff work closely with the people we support, their families and local commissioners to ensure there is a planned and safe transition into the service, and a person-centred approach to enable the individuals we support to reach their full potential, living full and active lives.

The staff are trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) which is delivered by a CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) in-house trainer, to ensure people can be supported safely and with dignity and respect in situations which they may find challenging.

“The standard of care at Hennel Lane is excellent. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they always want what is best for my son. Communication is excellent and I am always kept informed.”
