Kanner is a 24-hour residential home for up to 5 adults supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. We support people living at the Kanner Project to lead active lives in which their individuality, independence, dignity and respect are maintained. We fully embrace person centred planning, ensuring the person we support is at the centre in the delivery of our high-quality care and support.
“We are pleased with our son’s placement at Kanner House as the Management and core staff are knowledgeable on our son’s disability (Autism). During our many visits, we have found the staff extremely helpful and our son more relaxed than he has been in previous placements. Staff always have a positive attitude about the people they care for and we have not come across any negativity. As parents we can visit whenever we want which as parents can be very reassuring when dealing with vulnerable adults.”
